Grammy award-winning Nigerian musician, Ayodeji Balogun, aka Wizkid, reportedly threw his expensive ring while trying to fling his jacket to the crowd at his sold-out show at Tottenham Stadium in London, UK, on Saturday night.

According to popular British-Nigerian podcaster, Adesope Olajide, the ring is worth £100,000 (about N85 million).

The podcaster expressed regret for leaving the front row when the ring fell, stressing that he had caught Zlatan Ibile and Diamond Platnumz’s rings at their concerts in the past.

He stated this during an Instagram live session with fans recently.

Adesope said, “Why did I leave that front [row at Wizkid’s show] when that ring was about to fall? Ah! I have caught Zlatan and Diamond Platnumz’s rings before. These are thousands of pounds and dollars.

“Obviously, the Wiz ring, that would have been the one. I’m honest. I could sell it for like £100k.”

Meanwhile, Wizkid made history as the first African artiste to sell out the 80,000-Capacity Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, trailing Burna Boy who sold out London Stadium last month as the second African to sell out a stadium in the United Kingdom.

The concert was attended by football stars, Bukayo Saka, Alex Iwobi and Eddie Nketiah.

Wizkid mistakenly threw his £100k ring with his jacket to the crowd at his Tottenham Stadium show and Big Wiz immediately called the jeweler while the show was going on to make another one for him on the spot. Somebody just cashed out £100k.
