BREAKING : Fubara sends list of council caretaker chairmen to Oko-Jumbo Assembly

Rivers Governor Siminialayi Fubara has sent a list of nominated caretaker committee chairmen to the House of Assembly led by Speaker Victor Oko-Jumbo.

The Oko-Jumbo led lawmakers scheduled Wednesday to screen and confirm the nominees.

A statement by the Clerk of the Oko-Jumbo-led House invited the nominees to appear before it at 8am with 12 sets of their credentials, original and photocopies.

The lawmakers said they were acting in line with Section 9 (5) of the Rivers State Local Government Law.

The nominees for various local government areas are Abua/Odua LGA, Madigan Dickson; Ahoada East, Happy Benneth; Ahoada West, Mr. Daddy John Green; Akuku Toru, Otonye Briggs; Andoni, Reginald Ekaan; Asari Toru, Orolosoma Amachree: Bonny, Alabota Anengi Barasua; Degema, Anthony Soberekon; Eleme, Brain Gokpa and Emouha, David Omereji.

Others are Etche, John Otamiri; Gokana, Kenneth Kpeden; Ikwerre, Darlington Orji; Khana, Marvin Yobana; Obia/Akpor, Chijioke Ihunwo; Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni, Princewill Ejekwe; Ogu/Bolo, Evans Bipi;

Okrika, Princess Ogan; Omuma, Promise Reginald; Opobo/Nkoro, Enyiada Cookey-Gam; Oyigbo, Gogo Philip; Port Harcourt, Ichemati Ezebunwo and Tai, Matthew Dike
