Daniel Ademinokan, the ex-husband of Nollywood actress Stella Damasus, has responded to her recent statements about their divorce, disputing her version of events.

In an online post, Daniel shared a screenshot of an email allegedly sent by Stella in 2021, where she requested his address to send divorce papers. This, he said, contradicts her claim that she found out about their divorce online.

He also revealed that he left the marriage to protect his peace and that of his son, alleging that the child experienced physical abuse during their time together. Daniel stated that he had remained silent until now and urged Stella not to involve him in public drama, stressing his desire to live peacefully.

“Let me say this clearly, Na the beginning of fight person dey know. Nobody dey know how e go end end.

“Let me be, just as I have left you in peace. I’ve chosen a more private life, so don’t drag me into your soap opera. You’ve had your five minutes from me. Over and out”.
