Cristiano Ronaldo has married his longtime partner, Georgina Rodriguez, in an intimate civil ceremony in Cascais, Portugal.
The Al-Nassr forward and Rodriguez tied the knot on Tuesday, August 11, in a private ceremony attended by their five children and close family members, according to ARISE News.
The marriage comes almost a decade after the couple began their relationship in 2016 and one year after they announced their engagement in August 2025.
Ronaldo confirmed the milestone in characteristically understated fashion, sharing a photograph of their wedding rings on Instagram bearing the initials “C❤️G”.
A representative for the footballer also confirmed that the couple had completed their civil ceremony in Cascais and were officially husband and wife.
The ceremony was described as a private family occasion, with the couple choosing to celebrate the occasion away from the spotlight.
Rodriguez has been a prominent presence throughout a major period of Ronaldo’s football career, supporting him as he played for clubs including Juventus, Manchester United and his current side, Al-Nassr.
The couple have two daughters together, while Ronaldo is also father to three other children.
The wedding marks a new chapter for Ronaldo and Rodriguez after years together as one of football’s most recognisable couples.
