His death was confirmed on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, by comedian Ayo Ajewole, widely known as Woli Agba, in an Instagram post mourning the singer’s passing.
Woli Agba described the death as a painful loss, paying tribute to Toluwanisings’ distinctive voice and the joy his music brought to listeners.
“Sunset at Midday. Ah! Toluwanisings! An angel just passed on. A VERY UNIQUE VOICE has dropped the microphone and walked off the stage just like that,” the comedian wrote.
He added that the singer’s music had touched many lives and created lasting memories, expressing disbelief at his sudden departure.
In a separate announcement published on Toluwanisings’ official Instagram page, his family confirmed that he died in the early hours of October 14.

The cause of death has not been officially disclosed. However, reports suggest that the singer slumped before his death.
Toluwanisings was known for his energetic praise songs, Yoruba-inspired gospel music and contemporary worship recordings.
Some of his popular songs include A Very Big God, Eleda and I’m Not Alone.
He developed an interest in music at a young age through singing in church choirs, which helped shape his career in gospel music.
Throughout his career, he collaborated with fellow gospel artistes, including Tosin Bee and Adeyinka Alaseyori.
He is survived by his wife and family.
