Peter Obi mourns the death of Actress Cynthia Okereke

Peter Obi, 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate, has mourned the passing of Veteran Nollywood actress, Cynthia Okeke.

Cynthia Okeke reportedly died in her sleep on Tuesday night.

Reacting, Peter Obi expressed sadness over her death.

He prayed that God will grant her eternal rest.

“The news of the death of Cynthia Okereke, a veteran Nollywood actress, is a very sad one. She was a very popular face in Nigerian movies for decades, and she admirably played her different movie roles to the pleasure of many.

“I condole with her family and friends who are most affected by her death, and also the Actors Guild of Nigeria, over her irreplaceable loss.

“May God who called her home at this time grant her eternal rest,” he tweeted.
