Guinness World Record: Tinubu congratulates David on largest painting record

President Bola Tinubu has congratulated Dr. Fola David for setting a new Guinness World Record for the largest painting by an individual.

David’s artwork, “Unity in Diversity,” measures 1000 square meters, surpassing the previous record of 629.98 square meters.

The painting celebrates Nigeria’s diverse cultural heritage, featuring a map of the country highlighting its various tribes through their unique attire, languages, art, and essence.

Tinubu praised David’s achievement, expressing “great pride and admiration” for the accomplishment.

He wrote on his Instagram story: “Congratulations to Dr. Fola David for completing his attempt at making the world’s largest hand-drawing by an individual, ‘Unity in Diversity.’

“It is a remarkable achievement, and we are filled with great pride and admiration for this accomplishment.”

The record-breaking artwork was created at the Onikan Stadium in Lagos over six days, with the state government providing support for the feat.
