President Bola Tinubu has called on Nigerians to embrace the lessons of Eid-El-Kabir by fostering love and tolerance.
He made the appeal while observing Eid-El-Kabir prayers at Dodan Barracks, Lagos Island, alongside top government officials, including National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu, Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila, Lagos Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Deputy Governor Kadri Hamzat, Lagos State House Speaker Mudasiru Obasa, Inspector General of Police Tunji Disu, and former Minister Babatunde Fashola.
During the prayer session, Tinubu stressed the importance of obeying the rule of law, noting that the holy festival discourages violence and the killing of one another. He encouraged citizens to apply the spiritual lessons of Eid in daily life, promoting unity and national harmony.
The president’s message comes as part of broader Eid-El-Kabir celebrations across the country, where leaders and citizens alike reflect on sacrifice, obedience, and social responsibility.
