Adijat Ajoke, the woman claiming to have an 11-year-old daughter, Zeenat, for Nigerian singer Ahmed Ololade, aka Asake, has finally spoken out about their past relationship, revealing how she allegedly stood by him during his struggling days.

In the wake of Asake’s father, Fatai Odunsi, lamenting abandonment, a viral video surfaced showing his family members gathered.

In the clip, Adijat was seen seated beside Asake’s father as voices in the background urged the singer to take responsibility for his father, his alleged daughter, and the woman who had been by his side in difficult times.

In a TikTok interview, Adijat revealed how she used her savings and thrift contributions to support Asake through his time at Obafemi Awolowo University.

She claimed that while struggling to make ends meet, Asake constantly appreciated her sacrifices and reassured her of his love.

However, she alleged that everything changed after Asake moved to Lekki, Lagos:

He became distant and cut off communication for a long time.

When her mother reached out to him, he reportedly claimed that Adijat was forcing herself on him.

Asake allegedly told her that she no longer fit into his plans and threatened to block her.

“He Offered Help, But Never Followed Through”

Adijat admitted that after Asake became famous, he did offer some financial assistance at a point.

However, when she asked him to invest in her business, he became evasive and failed to fulfill his promises.

She also lamented that their daughter, Zeenat, has been ignored, despite her attempts to keep Asake involved in her life.

Social Media Reactions

@big_daddy_snr: “If this is true, Asake no try at all. You don’t forget people who held you down when you had nothing.”

@son_of_grace: “Loyalty is priceless, but not everyone will appreciate it. Sad.”

@chynwa_bby: “She should do a DNA test first before we judge Asake. Stories like this need proof.”

@oluwa_segun: “This is why some women don’t struggle with men anymore. They forget you when they make it.”

Flood: Election or not, Abuja will demolish houses on drainage ways – Wike

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has ordered the demolition of houses built on drainage channels in Abuja, warning that no property owner will be spared in the enforcement.   Wike announced the decision during a press briefing on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, following recent flooding in parts of the Federal Capital Territory. According to Channels Television, the minister said the flooding had exposed the consequences of developments obstructing designated waterways and drainage channels. He said the affected properties include those belonging to wealthy Nigerians and prominent individuals, dismissing suggestions that the enforcement would target ordinary residents. The FCT Administration has identified buildings obstructing waterways and plans to commence demolitions between Tuesday and Saturday. Wike also rejected claims that the exercise was politically motivated because of the approaching elections. “Election or not,” the minister said, the government would demolish houses obstructing waterways because “the right thing has to be done.” He maintained that political considerations would not prevent the government from enforcing Abuja’s master plan and addressing structures contributing to flooding.
