Dangote petrol price has risen to ₦1,350 per litre following a fresh increase by the Dangote Petroleum Refinery, according to a report by Channels Television.
The refinery raised its ex-depot price of Premium Motor Spirit from ₦1,275 to ₦1,350 per litre, marking another upward adjustment in Nigeria’s downstream fuel market.
Market sources quoted in the report said the new pricing template has already taken effect across loading channels, with marketers adjusting their depot and retail prices accordingly.
The increase comes barely a week after a previous hike from ₦1,200 to ₦1,275 per litre, highlighting the rapid pace of price changes in recent weeks.
The adjustment was also linked to developments in the global oil market, even as crude prices showed signs of fluctuation amid geopolitical factors.
Analysts say the latest increase is likely to push pump prices higher nationwide, as marketers factor in transportation costs and margins.
