Popular Nigerian TikTok creators Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, and Amadou Elizabeth Aminata, widely known as Jarvis, have officially tied the knot at a star-studded white wedding ceremony in Lagos on Saturday, August 1, 2026.
The highly anticipated Peller and Jarvis wedding drew widespread attention after the couple announced the date weeks earlier with a cinematic social media video that quickly went viral. Fans, celebrities and fellow content creators flooded social media with congratulatory messages, while the hashtag #JP2026 trended throughout the day.
Ahead of the ceremony, Peller shared an emotional message on Instagram, writing: “Today, we become one. Two tribes, one love. Two families, one forever. A new chapter begins and forever starts now.”
The couple rose to fame through comedy skits, prank videos and relationship-themed livestreams on TikTok, where they have built millions of followers and become one of Nigeria’s most recognisable influencer couples.
Their journey to marriage began with Peller’s proposal to Jarvis in June at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra, Ghana. He later travelled to Benin City, Edo State, to formally meet her family and complete the traditional introduction and bride price rites.
Before Saturday’s celebration, the pair also held a civil wedding earlier in the week, completing the legal formalities ahead of the white wedding.
Despite enjoying a widely followed romance, the couple’s relationship has also attracted public attention. Earlier this year, they briefly separated following disagreements over privacy before reconciling. Peller had also previously generated debate after saying he would not marry a Nigerian, while Jarvis recently stated during a podcast that Peller had never been unfaithful.
According to TVC News, the Lagos ceremony marks the latest milestone in one of Nigeria’s most talked-about social media love stories.
