US President Donald Trump has said he will not attend the upcoming wedding of his son, Donald Trump Jr., according to a Reuters report.

Trump made the comment during an interaction with reporters on Thursday, saying his political commitments and schedule would prevent him from being present at the ceremony.

Reuters reported that Trump did not disclose further details about the wedding, including the date or location, and no official statement has been issued by Trump Jr regarding the event. The former president is currently focused on political activities ahead of the 2026 US election cycle.

The development has attracted attention because of the close public profile of the Trump family and Donald Trump Jr’s prominent role in his father’s political movement.

Reuters noted that Trump’s remarks came amid ongoing campaign appearances and public engagements across the United States.
